Story of KGF 2

The story of KGF chapter 2 begins where the story of KGF 1 ended. The producers discuss a ‘promise’ that Rocky made to his dying mother: he won’t die in poverty. As the teaser also suggested, ‘Vaada’ will be placed in the second half of the film.

Furthermore, KGF 2 shows Yash’s character as Rocky all grown up and matured to understand the cruel politics and changing equations between gangsters and politicians to rule the gold business. The film will also show Rocky choosing between his female Reena and the goal of teaching his enemies a lesson. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Adhera, Soryvardhan’s brother, who is now set to fight Rocky to rule Kolar Gold Mines (KGF). In the first film, Sooryavardhana’s son named Garuda played the main villain.

After the blockbuster film KGF Chapter 1, all eyes are now on its second part KGF Chapter 2, which is slated to be a theatrical hit worldwide this year. As per the latest update, Yash is taking a hefty salary for KGF: Chapter 2, supported by Vijay Kyragandur and starring Prashant Neel.

Sources say that Yash, who gets less than Rs 15 crore for KGF Chapter 1, will get Rs 30 crore for KGF. Chapter 2. In addition to remuneration, Yash will also be sharing profits with manufacturers.

Yash remuneration for KGF Chapter 2

The much awaited teaser of KGF Chapter 2 was released on 7 January 2020, a day before Yash’s 35th birthday. Although the teaser was initially planned for January 8, a sudden leak of the video forced the makers to release it without delay.

This is the first Kannada film to have such a grand buzz around its release. Not only this, Prashant Neil-directed is the most expensive Kannada film made on a budget of 100 crores (approx). The film also appears as Sanjay Dutt’s first film in the South Indian film industry, as he played the main antagonist named Adhera. Yash’s stylish entry and the grandeur of Sanjay Dutt’s character in the teaser made the audience anticipate the film’s release.
